Well, I'm a little late this week, and this question is a bit different.
What do any of you know about the Unification Church, Rev. Moon, and/or the Moonies?
Seriously, tell me anything you know.

The unification church basically believes that God possesses both male and female attributes. God is found in "true love" which happens between a perfected man and perfected woman.
Rev. Moon was the guy who basically thought up all of this in 1954 and saw himself (as does many other people) as the "new Messiah" or something.
Moonie is a deragatory word for people who believe in this, and though at first thought of as a joke by the members of the church, but then in mid 1980s they changed their stance and asked the media to stop calling them that.
